Nazis, al-Husseini, Iraq, and Hussein

Yasser Arafat's interview with the London-based Arabic language newspaper Al Sharq al Awsat was reprinted by a leading Palestinian daily Al Quds (August 2, 2002):
Interviewer: I have heard voices from within the Palestinian Authority in the past few weeks, saying that the reforms are coordinated according to American whims...
Arafat: We are not Afghanistan. We are the mighty people. Were they able to replace our hero Hajj Amin al-Husseini?... There were a number of attempts to get rid of Hajj Amin, whom they considered an ally of the Nazis. But even so, he lived in Cairo, and participated in the 1948 war, and I was one of his troops."

Within weeks of Adolf Hitler`s ascendance to power, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, contacted the German counsel-general in Palestine. With the exception of funding some anti-Semitic riots, Germans rejected the Arab`s overtures until 1937, when Adolf Eichmann and Herbert Hagen were sent to Palestine to establish a framework to provide Husseini with military and financial aid by Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.

Haj Amin al-Husseini cooperated with Nazi Germany during World War II and helped recruit Muslims for the Waffen SS.

When the Red Cross offered to mediate with Adolf Eichmann in a trade prisoner-of-war exchange involving the freeing of German citizens in exchange for 5,000 Jewish children being sent from Poland to the Theresienstadt concentration camp, Husseini directly intervened with Himmler and the exchange was cancelled.

From Egypt al-Husseini was among the sponsors of the 1948 war against the new State of Israel.

Both Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein were greatly influenced by al-Husseini during their time in Cairo during the 1950s.

Iraq 1941

In 1941 there was a pro-Nazi coup attempt in Iraq, chronology here.

One of the Iraqi coup plotters was Gen. Tufah Khariallah. Tufah Khariallah is the uncle and mentor who raised SADDAM HUSSEIN.

  • Air War Over Iraq - In May 1941, British forces were fighting to keep Iraq in Allied hands

"Our fundamental condition for cooperating with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every last Jew from Palestine and the Arab world. I asked Hitler for an explicit undertaking to allow us to solve the Jewish problem in a manner befitting our national and racial aspirations and according to the scientific methods innovated by Germany in the handling of its Jews. The answer I got was: The Jews are yours."

Former Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini in his post-World War II memoirs.

"The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan... He was one of Eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures."

Adolf Eichmann`s deputy Dieter Wisliceny in his Nuremberg Trials testimony.

If you want to talk about Nazi collaboration, maybe you should read this: Here is a follow-up link on the book: Here is another link, from a Jewish organisation:

Perla Zhemchuzhina: thank you for the links, they are interesting.

The hints and allegations in Brenner's book are interesting, but there is certainly nothing comparable to true collaboration with and fighting for the Nazi cause. The despicable actions/suggestions of a few radicals certainly didn't amount to the type of Nazi collaberation the Muslims are guilty of.

Haj Amin al-Husseini cooperated with Nazi Germany during World War II and helped recruit Muslims for the Waffen SS.

Also, you should be aware that has an agenda, and is considered by most to be extremely biased. From their ABOUT US page: Ours is muckraking with a radical attitude and nothing makes us happier than when CounterPunch readers write in to say how useful they've found our newsletter in their battles against the war machine, big business and the rapers of nature.

Thanks for the response. I would like to comment that "the Muslims" are not a monolithic group with a single, unvaried history. And you should know that most of the world (myself included) realises that the mainstream US media also has an agenda and is also considered to be extremely biased.

Eagle said...

The main bias that afflicts the US mainstream media is political bias: it is liberal, or left-wing. Most mainstream media companies are owned and controlled by liberals, and most journalists are liberal. But thankfully there are some American media outlets that are not controlled by liberals, and today we have the great information resource of the internet which cannot be controlled by liberals (as much as they would love to!)

would you also post about the american/nazi connection?
didn't bush's grand dady laundered nazi money in the 30's?
didn't ford sell cars to them?
didn't IBM manufactured and maintained electonic devices to help the nazis manage their concentration camps?
didn't coca cola invent "fanta" just to make millions from the nazis?

Eagle said...

Did Bush' grandfather, Ford, Coca-Cola, or IBM fight with the Nazis? No.

Fanta was developed in Germany during World War II when no 'Coca-Cola' concentrate was available there, since Coca-Cola was not able to be sold in Nazi Germany. In 1955 'Fanta' was revived as a brand name for an orange drink introduced in Naples, Italy. Thereafter, 'Fanta' became the trademark designation for the orange flavoured drink sold by 'Coca-Cola' bottling companies in countries outside the US. By 1958 'Fanta' had become an important part of The Coca-Cola Company's business in Europe, Asia, Africa, Canada and the Caribbean. In that year, 'Fanta' was introduced domestically in a number of test markets in the US. By 1959 'Fanta' was being marketed on a broad basis throughout the US. Today, 'Fanta' is the fourth largest selling soft drink in the world.

So no, Fanta wasn't invented to make millions from the Nazis.

Ford and GM Scrutinized for Alleged Nazi Collaboration
During the war, the car companies established a reputation for themselves as "the arsenal of democracy" by transforming their production lines to make airplanes, tanks and trucks for the armies that defeated Adolf Hitler. They deny that their huge business interests in Nazi Germany led them, wittingly or unwittingly, to also become "the arsenal of fascism."

Ford made military equipment for America.

There has been a steady internet chatter about the "Bush/Nazi" connection, much of it inaccurate and unfair. While there is no suggestion that Prescott Bush was sympathetic to the Nazi cause, documents reveal that the firm he worked for, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), acted as a US base for the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, who helped finance Hitler in the 1930s before falling out with him at the end of the decade.

Did IBM Really Cozy Up to Hitler?

Court rejects IBM's Nazi associations
IBM has said that the case is groundless, rejecting allegations that it was in any way complicit in the Holocaust.

It has consistently said that its German subsidiary was taken over by the Nazis and that the parent company was in no way responsible for the way its punch-card machines were used.

So what is your point? Are you, by any chance, outraged by Google and Yahoo's collaboration with communist China?

Google move 'black day' for China
Google's launch of a new, self-censored search engine in China is a "black day" for freedom of expression, a leading international media watchdog says.

Chinese man 'jailed due to Yahoo'
The internet giant Yahoo has been accused of providing China with information that led to the jailing of a second internet writer.

i've seen original IBM documents that shows that IBM tech support employess have visted the camps and i have seen those machines with the IBM logos on them, do you realy think that ford and IBM and many corporations will actually keep documents in file that links them to the nazis?
it's foolish to go by statements made by those corp.
and to answer you question about google,no i'm not "outraged" but i do think it's not right, but what do you expect from any greedy capalistic bigs? it's the american way to make ca$h
i can say one good things about google is that they stand by their users privacy rights and refuse to hand over user/screach acounts info to the gov. at least that what i heard

Thanks for the link, Anonymous.

agent_oxide you don't appear to have a point. If you're trying to justify the actions of the Mufti and the Nazis, you have failed.

my point was that US corp. has connections to nazis regardless if try to hide it
suddam and arafat are bad guys regardless of thier "influence" by this mufti, it's weird b/c suddam and arfat are big time sucular leftist, so it's very strage for them to be influenced by a clerk!
i realy don't care enough the mufti's action to justify it and i never attemted to , so i can't fail in somthing i wasn't trying to do

i'm sure that there was not an arab nazi party, so much for that "influence"!!!

Crimes of Islamic Republic of Iran in the name of Islam

Truth about Shi'a Islam:

Truth about Shi'ism:

Anonymous said...

Ayatollah Khomeini, who made no secret of his conviction that his supremacist ideology should subjugate not just America, but the entire world: “Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the worldand there> Syed Abul Ala Maududi (1903-1979), founder of the Pakistani political party Jamaat-e-Islami, which is still the largest exponent of political Islam in Pakistan, declared that non-Muslims have “absolutely no right to seize the reins of power in any part of God’s earth nor to direct the collective affairs of human beings according to their own misconceived doctrines.” If they do, “the believers would be under an obligation to do their utmost to dislodge them from political power and to make them live in subservience to the Islamic way of life.”but could the following be the real reasom that iran and the islamic world is having nucular wet dreams the Druse - "who know not God" - have suffered persecution from the Muslim majority for over eight hundred years.

The Jews are doubly at risk: they are not Arabs, and they are not Muslim. In addition, they had the chutzpah to break out of the subordinate - therefore tolerated - Dhimmi status, fight a successful War of independence, and claim equality, as a nation among nations, with the Muslim overlords. When the Christians of Lebanon attempted a similar coup, they were punished by the Muslims with almost two decades of ferocious civil war.

Finally then, the Jews - by creating a successful state and a victorious army - have added greatly to the Muslim overlord's current sense of humiliation. As Arthur Koestler once remarked, in the last 500 years the Arab world has not produced much of anything but rugs and dirty postcards (and innovative terrorist tactics); and as they take their place on the world stage, they realize that they have little to show - particularly when compared to the Israelis. The Jews have high culture, superior science, a formidable army, and weapons that the world lines up to buy. And Israel's accomplishments are achieved from within the heart of Dar-Al-Islam itself. The very existence of Israel is for extremist Islam a gross insult, and a potent narcissistic wound. No wonder then that its leaders indulge wet dreams of nuclear genocide. But it is hurt pride and its attendant rage rather than Islamic theology that powers such fantasies.and if the iatollas in iran sucseed they are going towant back every bit of land that the star and cresant moon of islam has flown over and its peaples convetd to islam or paying the dhimmi tax to there ilslamic overlords but only as dhimmis, protected people, subject to various forms of legal discrimination and harassment; they have no right to govern such lands.that has once belonged to the House of Islam belongs to it forever. Non-Muslims may live in such lands, but only as dhimmis, protected people, subject to various forms of legal discrimination and harassment; they have no right to govern such lands. This is why Ahmadinejad views Israel as a “stigma,” and will, like Hamas, accept nothing short of its total destruction. and more that likely why the usa is so hated with its speparationof church and state
theres vvery litle chance that their might ever unified caliphate under Sharia law in the usa or that sharia law would become the lawof the land like it is iran,thouh he could be licking his chops and dreaming of the billons in dhimmis tax that he could skim off of if he could concor the usa ;

It is very convenient to point to the faults of others in order to obscure our own. Before we start putting other peoples' houses in order, we should perhaps concentrate on our own. Furthermore, it appears to a number of us that US policy is often based on expediency rather than principle.

You forgot Hitler's American influences. Namely the Eugenics movement that served as inspiration for t4 and ultimately the death camps. Your attempts to spin Hitler and the Muslims into a single cloth might bounce back in unexpected ways...
